Etsy Wedding Treasure Chest -pt 1

Borrowing a concept from Etsy, I decided to do a wedding treasury. My treasury is made from some very interesting shops I found on my Etsy adventure.

Stunning crystal pave pops against beautiful Swarovski pearls! These would be perfect as part of your wedding day jewelry ensemble. I love dangling earrings, if you have an oval, heart, or round shaped face these earrings would be perfect. Check out CarolineMariet's shop for more beautiful jewelry.

There is something about cuff bracelets that I like; there substantial and make quite a statement. This cuff bracelet is approximately 1 inch in width and measures 7 inches (18 cm) in length. It comprises of 274 Swarovski crystals!! Wow Color of the crystal is "Crystal Silver Shade".

If you are after a different color from the one shown here or a different clasp (such as gold instead of silver) or ribbon etc, let the designer and she will be happy to customize your jewelry. Allow up to 5 working days for item to be made. Check out SeDuCe on Etsy. Check out this shop for its large selection of unique jewelry.

Even before I saw the description these earrings reminded me of the phenomenon known as the Aurora Borealis. Perfectly named Aura these earrings may not make it to your wedding, but they have made it to my treasury because of their uniqueness..just like its name sake.

These rock crystals are permanently coated with an AB (aurora borealis) finish that makes them absolutely glow!
Two chunky 12mm faceted rock crystal AB briolettes are wire wrapped with non-tarnish silver Artistic wire. Each earring hangs on a sterling silver ear wire.
The Aura earrings measure about 1 1/2 inches long. You could find these on Etsy at beachflowerdesigns

ETSY Fabulous Find: Moment in the Sun

Sometimes the way a wedding favor is packaged is as exciting as the favor itself. While on my weekly Etsy expedition I came across Moment in the Sun. Tracey owner of this fabulous shop, has a little bit of everything. However, I would like to focus on her large selection of paper products.

Are you planning on giving out CD favors at your wedding, well don't select any old packaging for your favor. Check out these CD/DVD envelopes in a variety of styles and colors. Handcrafted from heavyweight cardstock, I could see them wrapped with organza ribbons for a perfect favor presentation. Set of 4 CD/DVD envelopes, each envelope is 5" or 13cm square, tab close. Add a monogrammed round label to the closure for a personalized touch. Your CD envelopes can be customized with a "Thank you" rub on at no additional charge. Just wonderful!!!!

I absolutely love these for a favor boxes. She has a variety of colors, however these were my favorite; I just pictured them for a spring wedding. These boxes can be use for your wedding favors or for presenting your bridesmaids with a thank you gift.

Black Tie anyone? try these appropriately named "Tuxedo Heart Box"

These beautiful tags would be great for favors, seating cards or table numbers. Print clear or opaque round labels with names, table numbers or "thank you" and place on the back of each tag. Simply stunning flower gift tags in spring green and chocolate brown with a hint of robins egg blue. Chocolate and blue flowers grace the front of the tags, while the tag backs are a beautiful tone on tone green damask. Other colors and styles available.

With 158 products listed in her shop they could not all be featured here, check out Etsy shop, Moment in the Sun for great paper products and more

Fabulous Finds around the Web

I was doing my usual hunt for fabulous finds to share with you. I ventured on a bride's blog and she mentioned gifts that she ordered for her bridal party...painted glassware.

I went in search of Etsy store cccglass. I thought the painted glassware was a unique bridal party gift. Each time your bridal party looks at these glasses they would think of you. After speaking with the owner, Jocelyn House, she indicated that she she takes special requests. She feels the best ideas come out of these special requests. Your requests have limitless possibilities.

These glasses would make great gifts for the groomsmen, bridesmaids, in-laws, someone who helped you through the planning proces.

Fabulous Finds around the Web

I always enjoy reading other blogs, while blog hopping and came across a blog, City of Dionne. I enjoyed reading her post on Adornments, She talked about her experience on Etsy and identified a particular store, PamelaSusan, where she purchased gifts for her bridesmaids.

I was equally excited to find out that Dionne Christiansen owned her own Etsy shop, also called CityofDionne. As always I must highlight unique items that jump out at me.

Giddy Weddingness (Pillow Box Set of 8)

These eight (8) pillow boxes feature Dionne's illustrations and would make a lovely party favor box. I also thought they would be great packaging for gifts to your bridesmaids. The colors on the boxes can be changed to coordinate any color scheme
They also include eight coordinating ribbons.

Boxes are construct on white, FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Certified Paper, Acid Free.

In a previous post I talked about different ways to ask your attendants to participate in your wedding, well here are some great cards to write that special request on.
